Reeves Carter is a multi-species fishing guide. He targets fish that will provide the most action for his clients.
Reeves pursues Black Bass, White Bass, Catfish, and Crappie.
It's not unusual for trips to produce a mixed bag with a variety of species. Striper, Drum,Carp, Gar, and Bluegill can also be caught on Lake Travis.

If you want to lear how to fish, or if you already know how to fish but want to become more proficient, Reeves provides instruction with patience and tact. Call scales guide service for honest, dependable and friendly service.

• Half-day and full-day fishing packages for 1-4 people:
  - All equipment necessary to catch fish is provided.
  - Artificial bait and/or live bait is provided.
  - Fish filleting (up to 15 fish) is included in trip cost.

What to bring on your trip:

• Fishing License (Various Packages Available.)
• Sunscreen (Please do not bring spray-on type)
• Sunglasses (Polarized if you have them)
• Cap/Hat
• Camera
• Dress for the weather (It's usually cooler on the water)
• Cooler to take your fillets home (please leave in your car)
• Drinks and snacks (Ice and 2 small on-board coolers provided,
  you may also bring a small cooler on board)
• Drinking water (is not provided)
• Check and/or cash (Sorry, we do not accept credit cards.)

Sorry, these items are NOT allowed on board:

• High-heeled, hard-soled shoes or boots (Tennis shoes are best)
• GPS units
• Liquor or wine; however, moderate beer consumption is permitted.
• Pets

Special Considerations:

-Please inform Scales if you have health issues or physical limitations.
-Please inform Scales if you are weather sensitive (e.g. can't tolerate hot or cold weather or can't stand rain. We don't fish in dangerous weather)
-Please inform Scales if the total weight of your party exceeds 725 lbs. Scales provides life jackets for chest sizes up to 62 inches.
- In most cases, fish filleting is available. There is an extra charge for more than 15. If you are not going to eat them, please do not keep them.
- You may take up to 3 of your favorite rods or bring tackle, provided we have the room. Most clients use Scales' equipment. It is Lake Travis specific.
