Lake Travis is a beautiful Texas hill country lake located just northwest of Austin, Texas. Travis is 63.75 miles long and has 270 miles of shoreline. The lake covers almost 19,000 acres at pool evalation (681 feet above sea level). Travis's layout features two river arms, numerous creeks, sloughs, canyons and coves. The rocks and awesome bluffs complement this spectacular lake. White-tailed deer and turkeys are often seen while fishing. Travis offers year-round fishing opportunities, even in the coldest months.
